Divorce Stinks!
I like the basic concept of your book, “Divorce Stinks and certainly that you used a family with diversity. I believe the book is wonderful and I would consider it a great tool to use with kids. My input is as someone that uses books to jump start counseling, it is an easy segue into a discussion about divorce. I am typically working with kids in K-2nd grade (urban district) when reading the books to the class or a group. These are the kids that struggle to express their feelings and even understand them. Great book and I see it as a valuable tool for school professionals.

Divorce Stinks!
I enjoyed reading through “Divorce Stinks” and believe it would be a great resource for parents hoping to explain the divorce process to children. Fathers will be happy to find that the book does not show a preference toward one parent or the other.

Divorce Stinks!
Paul Kramer's new children's book, Divorce Stinks, addresses a very complex subject with insight and compassion. It provides clear messages that the children are never to blame and that both parents still love them, despite the changes taking place in their lives. The book is beautifully illustrated and the messages all rhyme which makes it easier to read aloud or to oneself. Most importantly, it opens the door to conversations between parent and child which is so crucial before, during and long after the divorce.

Divorce Stinks!
“Divorce Stinks,” is a child-friendly way to help kids understand more about the process of divorce from the child’s perspective. The graphics are visually engaging and may help children and their families feel more comfortable talking about how it feels when parents separate and divorce.
